Regensburg. In February 1996 D'Mar (key), Kev (voc), Basti (b) & Micki Marbh (g) formed the chaos band "Frogs On Holiday" which was quickly completed by Chris on drums and influenced by Blur, Stone Roses, The Police, REM, RHCP, Oasis & the early U2.After practicing and performing for the first time in Basti's Hanfhaus we found our way to the Irish community in Regensburg which celebrated in the Irish Harp, Murphy's Law and the notorious Leprechaun (where we spent most of our nights).
The tape "The last concert" was recorded on the 6th of September 1996 in The Leprechaun with the first appearance of André (this time as percussionist). The recordings include songs such as Turn Away, BUR, Summer Day and You Said which were all played recently at our "Selfish" gigs (both in the Alte Mälzerei and at the Bürgerfest 2009) and are partly available on our CD "Reminders For Sale".
Micki is currently transforming the tape recordings into a digital masterpiece which will be available on CD in the upcoming months.
